Dr. Geoff Nobes

Dr. Nobes has nearly 30 years of experience in polymer processing and applications with a focus on the development and commercialization of biobased polymers. He began working with PHA as an undergraduate student over three decades ago and continued that focus for his PhD thesis and throughout his career. Dr. Nobes has experience with thermoforming, extrusion blow molding, injection molding, extrusion lamination, and hot melt adhesives, and he has led new materials development for novel packaging solutions and bio-based thermoplastic resins for the food and beverage, packaging and other sectors. 

Dr. Nobes currently leads the technical product development activities at RWDC, focusing on customer solutions, leading commercial trials in collaboration with the Polymer Chemistry and Resin Development teams.
